How do you avoid cross-contamination?

We mill our long-grain organic brown rice into our well-known gluten-free flour that is easy to digest. At Organic Flour Mills we mill organic whole long-grain brown rice in our gluten-free Zentrofan cyclone mill, that is in a separate mill room from the gluten mills. Our rice flour is used widely in baking and is good combined with our buckwheat flour or sorghum flour.

What are the health benefits of rice flour?

If long-grain rice is unavailable, we mill medium-grain rice. Our rice flour is high in B vitamins and a number of essential minerals, as well as having a low GI (Glycemic Index), which helps control sugar levels, making it ideal for diabetics.

How do you use rice flour?

Rice flour is not a complete protein, so it's good to combine it with our light sorghum flour (or with our buckwheat flour) in order to provide all the amino acids that our bodies need. Whole-grain rice flour is great in cooking or baking whether your diet is gluten-free, or not. Good for those who are diabetic, coeliac, gluten-sensitive, or anyone and everyone :)
